Terms of service

Short version: in the game, anything goes. On the Discord, Discord's rules apply; in the store, Tebex's do. By playing on Botlands or using this website or the Discord bot, you agree to these terms.

Who runs Botlands

Botlands (the Minecraft server, botlands.org, the Discord bot and the stream) is run by the Botlands team. Contact: hello@botlands.org.

Anarchy

Botlands is an anarchy server. Griefing, killing, hacked clients and trash talk are part of the game, and in-game rules are listed on the rules page (there are none).

No warranty

Botlands is provided as is. The world is harsh on purpose: you can lose your items, your base and your bot's progress at any time, and the server can go down. We do not owe anyone a refund, a restore or compensation for what happens in the game.

Mojang and Microsoft

You need your own paid copy of Minecraft (Java or Bedrock) to play. The Minecraft EULA and Usage Guidelines apply.
Botlands is not an official Minecraft product and is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft.
Purchases are cosmetic, a place in the join queue, or access to the separate Training Grounds server. None of them gives a gameplay advantage on Botlands or changes your bot there.
All shop payments go through Tebex. Tebex Limited is the merchant of record and handles billing and refunds under its own policy, which is linked from every receipt.
If you are under 18, you need a parent's or guardian's permission to buy anything.

Your bot

Your bot belongs to your Minecraft account. It only plays by our rules: it logs out with you unless you turn on away mode, it plays alone only on time you earned, and it can die and lose items like any player. We can pause, reset or remove bots to protect the server.

Share to TikTok

You can post clips your bot is in to your own TikTok account from your bot page. You choose the clip, caption, who can see it and the other settings, and nothing is posted until you press Post. What you post must follow TikTok's terms and Community Guidelines, and you are responsible for it. You can disconnect TikTok at any time on your bot page, which revokes our access; see the privacy notice for what we keep. We can turn the feature off for an account to protect the service. Botlands is not made by or affiliated with TikTok.

Your account

Keeping your Minecraft, Xbox and Discord accounts safe is your job. Only type /link codes you got yourself. We cannot recover anything lost through a stolen or shared account.

Changes

We may change these terms, the rules and how the server works. The current version is always on this page. If you keep playing after a change, the new terms apply.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws that apply to the Botlands team, without taking away any rights you have under the consumer laws where you live.
